One of the biggest highlights has been the new park in Southern Highlands.

Grandma's House
The boys were so excited to finally get to Grandma's house. They are lucky to have such great people in their lives.

Hoover Dam
Ok, I know pictures of the dam are boring. I agree. These are for Matt and Jon. The rest of you can skip down to Katie's birthday tribute if you want. Anyway, can't wait for this bridge to be done. It's supposed to be done in 2009. That's all I got. Enjoy your boring damn pictures. Oops, I meant dam pictures. Couldn't resist.
Matt-here's the funky 3 story box houses. Sorry the picture's so bad. Katie wouldn't slow down. She said if I didn't stop taking pictures of stupid stuff she was going to slant my eyes.
Katie's all grown up. She turned 21 yesterday. I am so blessed to have her as my sister. She is one of the brightest lights in my life. She has been my friend, helper, best nanny, travel companion, and fill in mommy to the boys so many times. She makes me laugh everyday! She has a sweet compassionate spirit and is always there when anyone needs her. Everyone who knows her can't help but love her. Thanks for being so great. I love you Katie! Happy Birthday.

White Sands
We went sledding at White Sands today. That was my kind of sledding, let me tell you. Not quite as fast as the real thing, but much warmer. The kids and adults all had a great time. We have had so much fun spending time with Rachel and Becky and all of the cousins. We are heading to Las Vegas tomorrow. Mom/Dad-just a few more hours left to prepare for our arrival. You know, pull out the red carpet, roll it out, mints on our pillows; that sort of thing. I'm kidding. We can't wait to get there. See ya soon!

Cousins Reunited
We finally made it yesterday afternoon and not a moment too soon! The kids were all so anxious to see each other. So far we are all having a great time. We went to the farmer's market this morning and then met Becky and the gang at the park. Owen has been a bit confused about where we actually are. He thinks we are in Mexico. Every time we see someone who is not mexican, he says "that doesn't look like a New Mexico person". He also asked on the way here if they had cars in New Mexico. That kid cracks me up. Rachel is an awesome hostess. I think Katie and I have eaten more the last 2 days then we normally eat in a month. She always has a nice spread out for every meal, fancy garnishes and all. Anyway, we are having a great time.

Road Trip Day One
Day one is over and the little angel's haven't lost their halo's. They were so good today. We went 14 hours and only had 2 Hannah Montana performances. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about- We have this thing we do, when they wine or fight in the car, they have to listen to Katie and I sing Best of Both Worlds as their punishment. It works like a charm. By the end of the song we are all laughing. Anyway, we had a great day, we are safe and looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. (We're going as fast as we can Anna)

Events of the Weekend
Just a few pictures from the weekend. Owen had his end of season soccer party. As usual he was very proud to get his trophy. He's a little soccer champ. We also went to stake conference. Elder Perry spoke to us. His words were inspiring. Owen and I ran into him in the hall and he stopped and spoke to us for a minute. A while later, Owen was restless and ready to leave and said, "We already talked to the prophet, can't we go now?" Kids are just too funny. Anyway, it's been a busy but great weekend.

The Look
Mom, this one is especially for you. I captured this yesterday. The "you are so annoying look". Don't you miss it? I would never look at you this way. But, then again, I am the perfect daughter-right? Happy Mother's Day!
Our Week
Katie and Owen playing a pretty intense game of soccer.
By far the cutest boy in Katie's life!
Owen is still into skateboarding. He hasn't convinced me to take him to the skate park yet. (I don't like hospitals) He keeps trying to explain all of these tricks he's going to try that sound REALLY dangerous. He always ends with, "Well, that's what Tony Hawk does!" I think I better get more used to the idea of hospitals.
They don't get much cuter then this-right?
Please-No comments about why I still have this jogging stroller on my porch. I know that my youngest is 6 and you're right, I couldn't tell you when the last time I went jogging was. Anyway, the dogs love it. This is their spot. I thought this picture was so funny.

**Matt and Cole are still alive and well. Matt is busy with finals this week and Cole just hasn't been around that much. I'll try to represent them better next week.
I know it's been a while. I've had a busy week. It's all up from here. My relaxing Mother's Day weekend is about to start. The boys in my life are good to me when it comes to Mother's Day. They always make a really big deal out of it and try to be really good. It gives me time to reflect on how much I love being a mother to two adorable but rambunctious boys before reality hits again Monday morning. Actually, I am pretty lucky when it comes to my boys. They're pretty great. I think I hit the kid lottery with these two. Matt and Jon are taking Cole, Owen and Dallin on the father and sons campout tonight. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius! A quiet Friday night to myself. It doesn't get better then that. Katie was going to hang out with me, but she ditched me for cute boys. Yes dad, you heard right, Katie ditched ME for cute boys. After all the "mothering" I have done for her. Looks like I got a taste of what it's like parenting a teenager. Just kidding Katie! Mom and Dad hit the kid lottery with you too. Enjoy the pictures from this week.
