Mother's Day 2009

As usual the boys were great to me on Mother's Day. Being the only girl in the family they love going all out and pampering me. If only that happened more then one day a year:) It was great to have Katie and Janelle here as well as Sarah and the kids. Ava brightened my day for sure!

I can't believe Owen is 7 already. Considering that he is my baby, he is growing up waaaay too fast. He has always been and still is my "angel child". He's so easy going and doesn't give us much trouble at all. We are so grateful to have him in our family.

He was so surprised and so excited to get his electric guitar.

Colorado 2009

Matt and Cole took a father/son bonding trip to Keystone Colorado last week. They had so much fun skiing in New Hampshire over Christmas they couldn't wait to hit the slopes again. It's been a learning experience for Cole. Matt said he caught on quickly and really enjoyed it.

Cole came in 2nd place overall. He was thrilled to get a trophy.

He earned his Bear and is very excited to move onto Webelos in July.

Owen's latest hairstyle.........faux hawk, style hawk, whatever you want to call it. I'm just grateful I talked him into cutting it short and he's ALMOST given up on trying to get me to let him dye it red. Apparently his little girlfriend at school was allowed to dye her hair. She now has hot pink tips and the rest is blonde. Seriously, he's 7! (almost) What am I going to do when he's a teenager. He's still adorable. Even with a mowhawk.

Out of all the fun things to do around our house, jumping off the ottoman still seems to be an all time favorite.
